   ABOUT ME

I am currently a programmer for 5TH Cell Media in Bellevue, WA. I am working on a game for the Nintendo DS called Drawn To Life which is extremely cool and should be available some time this summer. My job is awesome.

I have a B.S. in Computer Science from Rutgers University, which I received back in May of 2003. I also have completed about 75% of my B.S. in Real Time Interactive Simulation at the DigiPen Institute of Technology. After my junior year I realized I had been in school since the beginning of time and decided to join the working world.

During my junior year at DigiPen I made a game called Toblo with some friends of mine. It has done fairly well, having received numerous awards and even appearing in some print magazines. Toblo has won the 2006 Northwest Game Festival and the 2006 Intel Game Demo contest. It has been nominated as a finalist in the 2007 Independent Games Festival in the main competition for the Design Innovation Award. It has also won the Best Student Game award at the 2007 IGF.

Other random things about me:
  • I am the co-founder and co-captain of DigiPen's flag football team, The Regulators
  • I have written some articles for Gamasutra. They include a post-mortem and a look at the play-testing procedures we used while making Toblo.
  • I love to ski
  • I am a local celebrity (not really)
  • The Rutgers football team won a grand total of 7 games while I attended school there. This year they won 11.
